A great weekend! I think everyone really enjoyed the Halloween party at the Pinegrove. There were nearly 200 people at 1 point, and some of the strangest costumes I’ve ever ween! For those who missed the party, join us this spring when we return for the Easter party.

Well, it was hard getting up early to head off to the Heron Hill winery on Sunday, but we managed. The weather was really nice, and a great group of folks gathered who were ready to dance. Sadly, it was Gary’s last gig with us, but we look forward to working with our new drummer. Please plan to join us at the Central on November 15th as we welcome John Alderman to the band.

Background
The Bill Thompson Band was founded in 2003 by Bill Thompson and Rick Akers. The band plays a variety of classic rock and country music covers in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. They regularly entertain at bars, parties, weddings, and charity benefits.

The music of The Bill Thompson Band is unique to the Finger Lakes region as it employs a heavy emphasis on the piano. Bill Thompson is a staple in the music scene of the area, and has augmented his sound with quality musicians. Rick Akers is an experienced gigging guitarist adding superb rhythm to the band’s sound.

From Billy Joel and Elton Jon to The Doors and The Beatles, The Bill Thompson Band strives to provide the finest quality in dance music for any entertainment venue. They will keep you dancing all night long.

Our good friend Gary Wilson will be finishing his run with The Bill Thompson Band at the end of October. Gary has plans to pursue other endeavors and will be missed. For the past 5 years, Gary has worked hard and had fun with us. Good luck Gary!
